In the last year, I have bought a lot of recording and pro audio equipment. Pictures later, but here’s what I have:
5 25′ normal xlr
1-2 shorter xlr
3 3′ trs to male xlr
3 10′ trs to male xlr
5 6′ 2xRCA to 2xMono 1/4”
3 10′ trs to female xlr
6 6′ trs male to male
1 4′ trs to split (double) xlr female
4 1′ 1/4 mono male to male
1 1′ female to female xlr
1 15′ normal xlr
1 15′ female to female xlr
1 25′ female to female xlr
1 15′ male to female trs extension
2 12′ mono cables
various other small mono patch cables
5 boom mic stands
1 round base mic stand
1 amp mic stand
1 pair Samson monitor stands
1 AT2020 LDC mic
1 Shure 57
1 Shure 58
1 OSP bass drum mic
2 Takstar PCM-6100 SDEC mic
2 Naiant SECM
1 shure mic clip
4 butterfly mic clips
1 generic shock mount
1 Peavey Mark III 16 channel mixer
1 Mackie Onyx Satellite interface
1 M-Audio DMP3 Preamp.
1 Beringer Composer Pro Compressor/Gate
Cakewalk Sonar 7 PE
Sure it’s a lot of stuff, but I use it all on a regular basis so I can’t really complain about the prices. Now, what I want/wish to buy:
Sennheiser e609 condenser mic. For guitar cabinets and drums and such.
an 8 Channel computer interface. the Presonus is looking nice.
An actual room that I own, so I can treat it accoustically.
eventually a nicer large diaphragm condensor mic for vocals and whatnot.
even more eventually I want a nicer mixer. the newest mackie board is really sweet. direct firewire for 16 channels, plus the onyx preamps. I think its a 16x4x2 board, plus direct and digital outs. but that will be way in the future. I can do without for a long time.
Pretty soon I’m going to figure out how to post songs I’ve either written, produced or recorded (or all three) on a static page here.
